Test Your Basketball Skills With the
iHoops Challenge

Department will host a free iHoops Skills Challenge Local Competition for area youth.

Local youngsters ages 9 to 14 have the opportunity to participate in the Inaugural iHoops Skills Challenge. This national basketball skills competition provides boys and girls a free opportunity to showcase their basketball abilities in a time-based, half-court obstacle course.

The iHoops Skills Challenge focuses on basketball skill development while encouraging participation in the game.

1st Place Champions from this Local Competition will have the opportunity to advance to one of twenty-nine Regional Competitions occurring in NBA team markets across the country in hopes of advancing to the National Finals in Orlando, Florida.

Kyle Economic Develop Director Receives
Prestigious Recognition

  

City of Kyle Economic Development Director, Diana Blank, has been selected to be inducted in a very select group of women executives.

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) announced that Blank would be inducted into the association’s VIP Membership level. Blank was one of 207 of the NAPW’s more than 150,000 members inducted into the VIP Membership Level.

Early Voting for Special Election
Begins on January 27

    February 13th, for the vacated seats of Mayor, District 5 & District 6 representatives.

   You must be a registered voter in Hays County to participate in this election

 

       Early voting by personal appearance will be held each weekday at the Kyle City Hall located at 100 W. Center Street, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, beginning on January 27th through January 29th, February 2 through 5, and February 9th, and between the hours of 7am and 7pm on February 1st and February 8th.
