Monarch Rate Case Public Hearing
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON REQUEST TO INCREASE WATER RATES BY MONARCH UTILITIES I, L.P.
A public hearing will be held on January 3rd, 2012 during the regular meeting of the City of Kyle City Council for the purpose of receiving public comment on the request by Monarch Utilities I, L.P. to increase system water rates by 62.3%. Following the Public Hearing, the City Council will consider adopting a resolution authorizing the suspension of rates for 90 days, authorizing the continued participation in the coalition of cities, and authorizing special counsel to seek prompt reimbursement of rate case expenses from Monarch. The city council meeting is held at the Kyle City Hall, 100 W. Center Street, in Kyle, Texas and begins at 7 p.m.
