Story Time (10:30 am)

Since there will be several Summer Reading Program events scheduled on Wednesdays during June and July, morning Story Time will only take place on June 19th and July 3rd. Regular meetings for Story Time will resume on August 14th.

Registration

Registration for the Kyle Public Reading Program begins on Monday, June 3rd. Adults and children may register for this exciting program that takes place during June and July. All those who register will be entered into a grand prize drawing. Once you register you will receive a reading log to keep track of your reading.

Kay Cassidy Book Scavenger Hunt
Kay Cassidy Book Scavenger Hunt

The "Kay Cassidy Book Scavenger Hunt" was created by teen author Kay Cassidy to promote reading among young adults and teens.  This event takes place from June 1st to August 31st.  Ages 8 to 18 are welcome to participate in this fun summer time activity. However, if a child younger than eight is reading at a higher level, he/she may participate.

In order to streamline public computer usage, Kyle Public Library will require all patrons with a Kyle mailing address to have a Kyle Public Library card. You may apply for a library card at the circulation desk with a photo I.D. and proof of your current address.

Saturday Library Hours Change

Effective Saturday, June 1st the Kyle Public Library will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
