You may now sign up for Income Tax Assistance. Tax assistance is offered on Saturdays from February 4th to April 14th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Appointment times are available every half hour from 10:am to 1:30 pm. You may register by dropping by the front desk, calling us at 512-268-7411, or sending an email to circulation [at] cityofkyle [dot] com. If you send an email, please include your name and telephone number and desired date and time. If the desired time is unavailable, we will give you a call to set up an appointment for another time.

The VITA Program offers free tax help to low- to moderate-income (generally, $50,000 and below) people who need assistance preparing their own tax returns. Certified volunteers sponsored by various organizations receive training to help prepare basic tax returns in communities across the country. VITA sites are generally located at community and neighborhood centers, libraries, schools, shopping malls, and other convenient locations. Most locations also offer free electronic filing.
