The Kyle Public Library just got a little more public with the launch of their new mobile app. The application is now available as a free download from the iTunes App Store and Google Play for the Android based version.
The free application allows patrons to access most of the services available through the library, including class schedules, account information and much more. Anyone with a Kyle Public Library card can create an account on the application and have full use on the various functions that are available.
“We are always looking for ways to make our library more convenient and accessible for our patrons,” said Cara Waits, Kyle Public Library Assistant Director. “This application will give our patrons access to a great deal of our services and information from their mobile phone or tablet. We are very thankful to be the recipient of this generous grant.”
The Kyle Public Library Mobile App was made possible through a grant provided by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. The $6,500 grant paid for the development of the application as well as for the purchase of 12 iPad Minis for use at the library.
