Income Tax Assistance and Tax Forms

Special Note: Income Tax Assistance will now be provided on April 16th! We have extended our tax assistance for one more week. We are now scheduling appointments for April 16th. We also have openings for Saturday, April 9th.

 You may sign up for income tax assistance at the library, or you may send us an email at circulation [at] cityofkyle [dot] com. If you send an email, please include your first and last name plus your phone number. We will call you to set up an appointment.

It would be great if you could drop by the library to pick up form 13614-C. If you complete it before your appointment, this helps the volunteer preparer complete your return. It also speeds up the process. The form can be accessed at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f13614c.pdf .You may print the form out, complete it, and bring it with you at the time of your appointment!

Finally, please bring the following items to your appointment:
• Forms such as W-2, 1099, 1098
• Proof of identity (social security card, drivers license or other picture ID
• Form 13614-C - Review Sheet (pickup at the library or print form out at our web site. (continued on back)
