Spooky Reading Contest

The Kyle Public Library is sponsoring a "Spooky Story Writing Contest." This contest is open for anyone in Middle School or High School. The stories may not exceed ten typed pages.You may turn in your original completed stories beginning October 1st. The last day to turn in your completed story will be October 11th. 

Make sure that your story is:

1. No longer than 10 pages long (not including cover sheet)

2. Typed and easy to read

3. Turned into the Kyle Public Library by the deadline

Stories must be turned in with a "Spooky Story Contest Cover Sheet" that can be picked up at Kyle Public Library, or select the link below to download the form and bring it to the library. We will announce the winner at the Fall Festival Book Exchange on October 18th at 4:30 p.m.

Stories will be judged by Kyle Library staff and the winner will win a Kindle E-Reader. You may drop by the library to pick up an information sheet about the contest, or select the link below to access the sheet.
