Kyle 5-K Trail
This trail has been certified as a "5-K" course and is used by the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce's "5 Kyle-O-Meter" race in July.
This course can be challenging on foot as well as on wheels, as it takes several elevation changes, many curves and beautiful Central Texas scenery.
The course begins at Wallace Middle School parking lot. Make a right turn onto Center Street heading west. At the stop sign, carefully cross the street onto Cypress Road. Stay on Cypress until you come to a ranch gate crossing the road. At the gate, you have gone exactly 2.5 kilometers. Make a u-turn and go back to the parking lot that you started from. For a 10-K experience, do the same course twice.
