~Notice To Food Vendors~

Effective January 1, 2007, all food vendors participating in any City Sponsored Event or operating in or on any City Facilitiy or Park, must have a Food Handler's Certificate if the vendor is offering or selling non-prepackaged food or drink items.

All persons actually handling the food or drinks must submit a copy of the certificate with the vendor application or permit request.

It will also be the vendor's responsibility to keep a copy of that certificate in the booth for verification during the event.

How do I get a Food Handler's Certificate?

Most Counties and larger Cities offer training courses each month. Here are some Departments and phone numbers:
