Director of Public Works

Harper Wilder has been with the City of Kyle since 2008.  As Director of Public Works he is responsible for the management of various City operations and functions that are key to the regular maintenance, repair and expansion of our City’s water, wastewater and transportation infrastructure.  The Public Works Director oversees the following areas within the Public Works Department: Administration, Water, Water Supply, Wastewater and Streets.

Mr. Wilder has an extensive construction background combined with many years of hands-on experience in all aspects of construction.  He holds State Licenses in both Water and Wastewater and is a member of the Texas Water Utilities Association and Water Environment Association of Texas.  

The Public Works staff consists of very skilled, talented workers that take pride in their professional dedication to their duties and are passionate about the well being of our citizens.
