2012 Summer Youth & Teen Camps
It is our goal to offer a recreational program that youth can participate in to maintain a happy, healthy and active lifestyle; rather than sit on the couch and play video games all summer. We strive to introduce the children to new and different ways to recreate through physically and mentally exhilarating field trips, on-site activities and valuable friendships.

ALL SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION WILL BE DONE AT THE KYLE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPT. OFFICES AT LAKE KYLE - 700 LEHMAN RD.
VOYAGER YOUTH CAMP PROGRAM
At Wallace Middle School/Gregg-Clarke Park

Week 2 June 18-22

No Camp July 2-6
Week 4 July 9-13
Week 5 July 16-20

Week 8 August 6-10
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 6:45am - 6:30pm
Cost: $113.00 per child per week plus a $30 registration fee (includes all supplies, two t-shirts and field trips)
(There is no discount for multiple children)

A registration packet must be filled out for each child and turned in prior to, or at time of registration.

MEALS AT CAMP:
Meals for campers will be provided through Hays CISD's Summer Feeding Program. Menus will be provided if available.
REGISTRATION DATES:
Registration at Kyle Parks Office - 700 Lehman Rd (Lake Kyle) - Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Returning Camper Registration (A returning camper is a camper that attending camp in 2011) - April 25 & 26, 2012

Optional Parent Meetings:
Due to the many extensive in policy for camp this year, we are offering parent information meetings prior to camp starting. We encourage parents/guardians to attend. Please be aware that the changes in policy will be implemented from start of camp. Make sure if you do not attend a parent meeting to read you registration packet thoroughly as there have been several changes.
MEETING DATES: May 11, 2012 @6:30 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 100 W. Center Street
PAYMENTS:
There have been some changes to the payment calendar. Payments are now due 18 days before the start of the week of camp you are registered for. Failure to do so will forfeit any deposit you put down.

This camp is not a state licensed child care facility; it is a summer camp program governed by the City of Kyle under Ordinance No. 461, Article IV. Standards of Care for Parks & Recreation Department Programs for Children, Sections 23.01-23.12.
