Steeplechase John Houck Designed Disc Golf Course

Steeplechase Disc Golf Course

Check out the City of Kyle's  18 hole, double tee-box, disc golf course at Steeplechase Park that challenges begginners and pros alike!

John Houck, a two-time world champion, designed and supervised construction of the course. The historic Plum Creek crosses the course many times and will challenge any level of player. The tee boxes are constructed of pervious concrete. In fact, this course will be the first course ever to use pervious concrete for tee boxes. There are two tee boxes for each hole. Each hole will have 2 basket sleeves to keep the grounds in good shape.

The first rounds were played in February 2006 and weekly minis are played by many.

There is a "Driving Range" with a pervious concrete surface to help warm up and practice your game. Distances range from 100' feet to 400' feet to test your distance and accuracy.

Also, this course offers you two "Practice Holes" to work on your short game and putting skills.

You won't find another Disc Golf Course anywhere that provides the challenges, design, construction, and amenities as Steeplechase Park.

CAUTION: There is currently poison ivy on portions of the course. Until the poison ivy can be treated, please exercise caution while enjoying your visit to Steeplechase Disc Golf Course!
