Kyle is the OFFICIAL Pie Capital of Texas!

It's official: Kyle earned the trademark as the Pie Capital of Texas from the US Patent and Trade Office!

After more than a year since submitting the application, Kyle got the good news: we are The Pie Capital of Texas! 

It was announced by Mayor Pro-tem Dex Ellison at a CertiPIEd reception on January 23, 2019, which is National Pie Day.

The city is also pursuing a designation by the Texas State Legislature, so stay tuned!
