PIErate Treasure Hunt

Ahoy, worthy treasure hunters, the City of Kyle's PIErate Treasure Hunt is making its triumphant return, challenging all Kyle citizens to test their luck finding four well-hidden treasure chests across our vast lands for a chance at a $314 prize from March 14 - 28 in celebration of National Pi Day in the Pie Capital of Texas.

To participate in the PIErate Treasure Hunt, you must find one of four treasure chests hidden throughout the city. The locations are still a mystery, but we are currently unraveling clues as to where they are hidden. Clues that we will share online on the City of Kyle's Facebook page as the treasure hunt continues. Once a treasure box is located, participants brave enough can unlock the chest and follow the instructions to be entered into a raffle to win $314.

The 2024 PIErate Treasure Hunt is open to all City of Kyle community members. All treasure hunters are asked to leave the chests for others to find. Multiple entries are allowed. No city employees can win the prize. We wish 'ye all the best of luck in finding the treasure.

The treasure hunt clues will be posted to our social media pages, CityofKyleTX on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (X) and on this webpage CityofKyle.com/PIEhunt starting March 14, 2024. Happy hunting!

'My Treasure lies between yellow and blue,
a track through the sand one will do.'

Riddle No. 2 - Released Friday, March 15

'Running through the dew and mist, I left my treasure beside a child’s wish.
The days keep rolling by so fast, hurry now before it’s ash.'

Riddle No. 3 - Released Saturday, March 16

'On new ground where children play,
near the lake does my treasure lay.'

Riddle No. 4 - Released Sunday, March 17

'Past the Steeple and through the woods did my pursuers chase,
Fortune be mine when I did find a fountain with a pie for a face.'
