Veterans Day Parade

2023 Veterans Day Parade

Join the City of Kyle in honoring our nation's veterans at the Veterans Day Parade and festivities on Saturday, Nov. 11 starting at noon.

Viewing the Parade:

The best locations to view the Kyle Veterans Day Parade are on either side of Center Street between Gregg-Clarke Park and Mary Kyle Hartson Park. To keep everyone safe, the city is asking attendees to stay on sidewalks or grassy areas along Center Street and to not run into the street when the parade is going by.

After Celebration:

After the parade, participants and citizens are invited to attend the festivities at Mary Kyle Hartson Park. The day will include live music, market vendors, and family friendly activities from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Detour & Parade Route

The parade route will start at 12 p.m. from Gregg-Clarke Park and travel along Center Street, ending at Front Street on the City Square. Center Street from Ramirez Street to just past Front Street will be closed to traffic from 11:30 a.m. until after the parade. Traffic will be detoured using N. Front Street, Blanco Street, and Veterans Drive.

Burleson Street from Center Street to Moore Street and Miller Street from Burleson Street to Main Street will be closed for Market Days from 7 a.m. until the event ends at 2 p.m.
