Community Gardens Committee

The City of Kyle Community Garden at Post Oak is expected to open in the summer of 2024.

Located at: 193 Goddard, Kyle Texas 78640

Expected amenities:

35+ garden plots, ADA accessible garden tables & plots, greenhouse, tool shed, pergola, picnic tables & benches,

compost, mulch & soil bins, deer fencing, herb & flower gardens and a ADA restroom.

Community Garden coloring contest open! Closes May 1st.

Age groups are: 2-5 years, 6-10 years, 11-14 years, 15-17 and 18 and up! 

Winners will be posted on the Kyle Parks Facebook page and can receive gift cards for Evo, entry for Art in the Park and more.

Committee Description: The Community Gardens Committee will work with City staff and provide recommendations on the design and installation of the City of Kyle Community Garden at Post Oak. The community garden committee's purpose is to organize the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the City of Kyle Community Garden at Post Oak. Committee duties include participation in meetings to provide input regarding the operations of the garden including establishing garden rules, securing volunteers and donations, and providing input on garden design.

The Community Gardens will meet monthly through July 2024 on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6 pm. 

The Community Gardens Committee consists of 7 seats
