Lake Kyle is a Catch & Release lake

Lake Kyle Update 4.15.24 

Lake Kyle is open for fishing. There have been reports of some fish in the water. TPWD has stocked Lake Kyle with sunfish. Texas Parks and Wildlife will continue to work on transferring larger fishing in the Spring /Summer of 2024. Lake Kyle will be stocked with bluegill sunfish, redear sunfish, catfish and large mouth bass.
