There will be intermittent lane closures on County Road 158 from the Interstate 35 Frontage Road to E. Post Road for street improvements, beginning Wednesday, Oct. 5. Work hours will be Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The work being performed will consist of a surface mill followed by a chip seal application, as part of the city's street preservation program.
All residents along the affected stretch of road are asked to park vehicles in your driveway and not in the street, while work is being performed. Please plan accordingly.
Drivers are asked to obey traffic warning signs, detours and watch out for heavy equipment and flaggers. At times, the driving surface may be rough.
In the event of inclement weather, the City of Kyle will return the next workday or when weather permits. Crews will begin prep work on CR 158 on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
