Starting Wednesday, March 6, there will be intermittent lane closures on Goforth Road from Bunton Creek Road to BeBee Road for necessary street improvements, weather permitting.
The work being performed will consist of base failure repairs and a 2-inch asphalt overlay, as part of the city's street preservation program.
Work hours will be Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The duration of the project will take up to 12 weeks. In the event of inclement weather, the City of Kyle will return the next workday or when good weather permits.
All residents along the affected stretch of road are asked to park vehicles in your driveway and not in the street while work is being performed. Please plan accordingly.
Drivers are asked to obey traffic warning signs and detours and watch out for heavy equipment and flaggers. At times, the driving surface may be rough.
