Railroad Crossing Closures (Union Pacific Project)

***UPDATE: 

Union Pacific Railroad will close the railroad crossing at Center Street/FM 150 on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. for track repairs and maintenance.  

Drivers are asked to obey traffic warning signs, follow detours and watch out for heavy equipment. All construction is weather permitting. 

This closure was originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 12 but was postponed to a later date. 

***UPDATE: Union Pacific is postponing the Kohlers Crossing, Roland Lane and the Center Street railroad crossing closures that were scheduled for Friday, Jan. 12 due to a service failure last night this has affected train traffic.

The Kohlers Crossing/CR171 railroad crossing closure that was scheduled Friday, Jan. 12 from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. will now take place on Saturday, Jan. 13 from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The Roland Lane/CR 137 railroad crossing closure that was scheduled from from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12 will now take place on Sunday, Jan. 14 from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The Center Street railroad crossing that was scheduled from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12 will be postponed until a later date.

Opal Lane/CR 138 from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - COMPLETE
N Burleson Street from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - COMPLETE

Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024:
E South Street From 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - COMPLETE

Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024:
Kohlers Crossing/CR171 from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - COMPLETE

Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024:
Roland Lane/CR 137 from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - COMPLETE

**UPDATE: Union Pacific was not able to complete all the repairs to the crossing on N Burleson St. in Kyle today. The road closure will be left up overnight and the crossing will be reopened mid morning on Tuesday, Jan. 9.

Union Pacific will be closing Rail Road Crossings at six locations across Kyle between Monday, Jan. 8 and Friday, Jan. 12 for track repairs and maintenance.

Opal Lane/CR 138 from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - COMPLETE
N Burleson Street from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - COMPLETE

Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024:

Friday, Jan. 12, 2024:
