Cedar Hills Construction will begin work to upgrade the wastewater lines along Schlemmer Street and N. Front Street. The work will take up to five months to complete. Contractors will not be allowed to park their vehicles on the road and will only be allowed to park in the working area. Work hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

UPDATE: This work has been rescheduled to Thursday, Oct. 19..
On Wednesday, October 18, workers will be milling and paving as well as repairing small sections of pavement along Schlemmer Street. During that time there may be intermittent lane closures.
Work is expected to completed that day. All construction is weather permitting. All residents along the affected stretch of road are asked to park vehicles in your driveway and not in the street while work is being performed. Please plan accordingly. Drivers are asked to obey traffic warning signs and watch out for heavy equipment and flaggers.

As of 10/27/23:
- Based on pay request, overall progress is 80%
- Pavement for Schlemmer Street & the crossings on North Street was completed Thursday 10/19
- Pre-walkthrough with contractor was conducted
- Substantial completion walkthrough will b e scheduled in the next week pending weather
As of 10/13/23:
- Based on pay request, overall progress is 80%
- Contractor completed installation of WW utilities
- Contractor sent asphalt submittal for review
- Pre-pave meeting on Thursday, October 12, 2023
