39th Annual Great Texas River Clean-Up

THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone that made the 38th Annual Great Texas River Cleanup an amazing success. 76 volunteers spent their Saturday morning cleaning up the Plum Creek Watershed in Waterleaf Park. Together they picked up 8,980 lbs. of trash, 470 lbs of recyclables, and 2 tires. We greatly appreciate their hard work in keeping our natural resources clean and safe for future use and encourage all Texans to take care of the waterways in our own backyards year round and Keep Texas Beautiful.

The Great Texas River Cleanup is a concentrated effort to pick up trash along Plum Creek to keep our natural resources clean and safe for future use. Just south of Interstate 10 Plum Creek converges with the San Marcos River, eventually flowing into the Gulf of Mexico, an area frequented by many Texans year-round, emphasizing how important it is to take care of our waterways.

Kyle's portion of the 39th Annual Great Texas River Clean Up is made possible by our great sponsors ALSCO & ENF.
