Please let us know of any changes to name, address, email or phone numbers.

Adults are responsible for checking their accounts for due dates, overdue items, number of items checked out, fines and fees, currency of their information and for items on their minor children’s accounts. The library offers, as a courtesy, reminders of due dates and overdue items, but ultimately it is the adult’s (18+) responsibility for monitoring their accounts.

Children must be present with a parent or legal guardian to apply for a card.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for any fine, fees or overdue items for minor children.

Library cards expire every year.  A current ID with current address will be required at that time to verify and update your card.

The initial card is free. There is a $2.00 replacement fee for a Kyle Public Library card.  Please be sure to report lost or stolen library cards as you will be held responsible for fines and fees of materials checked out on the card.  You may call the Kyle Public Library at 512-268-7411 and, with proper identification, your card will be deactivated.
