25 Days of Christmas

It's the most wonderful time of the year — The City of Kyle's 25 Days of Christmas! Throughout the month of December, we will have nightly holiday lights, Christmas music (including live music), and local vendors at Mary Kyle Hartson Park, 101 S. Burleson St.

It all starts with Santa's Arrival Thursday, Dec. 1 and goes until Dec. 25. 

If you are interested in being a vendor for the 25 Days of Christmas, please fill out our Vendor Application!

Stop by for live music and local vendors from Dec. 1 through Dec. 25 and get in the holiday spirit.  Holiday Lights will be on at Mary Kyle Hartson Park on Dec. 23, 24 & 25, but professional photos with Santa and vendors will not be available.

• Monday -Wednesdays: Holiday light display and Holiday music as you stroll the the wonderful Mary Kyle Hartson Park.
• Thursdays Date Nights: Join us on date night Thursday with that special person. Holiday lights and music, food vendors and a professional photographer. Tables are limited. 
  • Dec. 7- Noche de Amor: Includes Mariachi performances from 7-8:30 p.m. 
  • Dec. 14- Slow Jams Thursday: Includes Jazz performances. Music begins at 6:00 p.m.
  • Dec. 21- Throwback Thursday: Includes Dj with throwback jams along with karaoke. Music begins at 6:00 p.m.
• Family Fun Fridays: The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present Family Fun Nights! Join us on Fridays for themed activities. There will be lights and holiday music!
  • Dec. 8-  Grinch games and activities including a visit from the Grinch at 6 p.m.; Letters to Santa
  • Dec. 15- Fairytale games and activities; Visits from Disney Princesses Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, Belle and Moana from 6:45-7:45 p.m., Letters to Santa, and visits with Santa from 5:30-9 p.m. (families can visit with Santa for free and take photos with their own camera)
  • Dec. 22- Gingerbread games and activities; Letters to Santa
• Shopping Saturdays: Stop by Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park for vendors, lights and live music! 
• Social Sundays: The City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department is celebrating Social Sundays at Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park. To take part in the festivities, stop by the park, take pictures of you and your loved one and share it with the hashtag #KyleParksandRecreation.
  • Dec. 3- Sweet Sunday: Includes vendors selling sweets and pastries, hot chocolate, enjoy a social media scavenger hunt to holiday music.
  • Dec. 10- Sunday Funday: Includes lawn games, social media scavenger hunt, food vendors,holiday music. 
  • Dec. 17- Sip and Stroll: Join us in the park and sip on hot cider, hot chocolate, or coffee and enjoy a social media scavenger hunt to holiday music.

Ice Skating at Lake Kyle

During the month of December the Parks and Recreation Department will be offering Ice Skating at Lake Kyle December 2-23, 5pm - 9pm.
