Splash Pads

Come beat the summer heat at Kyle's two splash pads located at Gregg-Clarke Park and Steeplechase Park! The Kyle City Council approved funding for both splash pads in April 2023 and officially cut the ribbon for both splash pads on May 9, 2024.

The Steeplechase Park Splash Pad is approximately 2,300-square-feet with a giant dumping bucket, a two-headed sunflower, two mushroom showers and water cannons. The Gregg-Clarke Park Splash Pad is approximately 3,000-square-feet with a water tower, rain wall, dumping buckets and custom hoops. Both splash pads have shade canopies, picnic tables, and benches.

Water demands for splash pads are fairly minimal, equal to about 1 single family house. Each splash pad has a 2,700-gallon underground tank. With use, a 10% daily loss ratio occurs when water evaporates or is splashed off — which equals about 100-300 gallons daily. Additionally, all splash pads are subject to City of Kyle Drought Restrictions.

At this time, reservations for the splash pads are not available.
