YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE

2024 Season

10U Boys and 12U Boys will have tryouts on Tuesday, February 13th. Players that do not attend will be randomly placed on teams. 6:00pm for 10U and 7:00pm for 12U. Players will run through basic basketball drills.

For all other divisions, there are no skills assessments or tryouts, the teams will be picked at random by a City of Kyle Employee.  A coach will be allowed to have their own child(ren) on their team, but no one else is guaranteed.  Once the teams are drafted by the City of Kyle employee, the rosters will be sent to the coach by February 14, 2024. The coaches will be expected to contact each parent within their roster by February 16, 2024.

Practices begin the week of February 19, 2024

Game play will begin on Saturday, March 2nd

Games will be held on Saturdays

No games/practice the week of March 11-16

League ends May 18, 2024

Girls & Boys Divisions

AGE 6U:(is the only co-ed division),

AGES: 8U, 10U, & 12U

**Ages are determined as of September 1st, 2023**

There must be a minimum of 7 players to a team and maximum of 12 players per team, and a minimum of 4 teams per division and max of 6 teams per division. 

If a league does not make the minimum, parent/guardian will get a full refund.

****The 6U division will meet once a week for a total of an hour on Saturdays. The first 30-minutes will be the time to practice and go over fundamentals. The second half of the hour allotted (30-minutes) will be the time for a scrimmage against another team. The teams will be co-ed and each player will be placed on a team.  ***
