Food Trucks in the Parks

Food Trucks / Trailers are now welcomed in certain City of Kyle Parks. A Food Truck in the Park Permit is required before setting up. This website will be used by two groups of people - those with Food Trucks/Trailers that want to set up in the park; and those wanting to eat.

Food Truck / Trailer Owners

In 2011, it was estimated that there were approximately 81,444 visitors and guests at the City of Kyle's 3 main parks. They all eat and drink! Thousands of kickball and flag football players and fans in the leagues. Hundreds attend movies in the park. Tens of thousands go to the pool. Hundreds play disc golf. Thousands go fishing and hiking. Why not be where the action is?

Set up for 16 hours a day (7am - 11pm), 7 days a week, 365 days a year for about 13 cents an hour. Here's the math: $60 month divided by 480 hours a month set up (16 hours a day x 30 days a month) = $00.13/hour. Here is more math: low overhead + high number of potential customers = success.
