GRANT ADMINISTRATION & ENGINEERING SERVICES 

PUBLIC NOTICE 

The City of Kyle plans to apply for the upcoming Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) from the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM). These services are being solicited to assist the City in its Texas COVID-19 DR-4485 HMGP contract, if awarded, to support water improvements, sewer improvements, and/or other eligible activities. Accordingly, the City is separately soliciting (A) proposals from qualified management service providers to assist the City in pre-award and post-award management services and (B) qualifications from qualified engineering firms to assist the City in pre-award and post-award engineering services of its proposed HMGP project(s).  

Please submit three (3) hard copies or an electronic version of your proposal of services and statement of qualifications for the proposed services to:

Proposals shall be received by the City no later than 3:00 pm on Friday, March 18, 2022 to be considered. The same firm will not be awarded contracts to provide both services. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
