KYLE, TEXAS – ATX Specialty Foods and the City of Kyle Economic Development invite the community to the opening of their new production facility on Wednesday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m. at 300 Gateway Blvd.

ATX Specialty Foods is a contract producer of high-quality dips and sauces for a number of brands and restaurants including Texas mainstays like Hopdoddy, Pluckers, Tarka, Freebirds and Julio’s sauces that are sold in-store.

"We are thrilled to open our new food manufacturing facility in Kyle, Texas. The decision to choose Kyle was driven by a number of factors, including its strategic location, supportive business climate, and skilled workforce. We are confident that Kyle will provide us with the resources and infrastructure necessary to successfully grow our business and meet the needs of our customers,” John Anderson, Founder & CEO of ATX Specialty Foods said. “We would like to thank the City of Kyle and its leadership for their warm welcome and continued support throughout this process. We look forward to being an active member of the community and contributing to the economic growth of Kyle and the surrounding areas."

ATX Specialty Foods’ is excited to open its new 53,000-square-foot production facility located at the Hays Commerce Center which offers larger production run capabilities for specialty items, food service production, packaging options and product development opportunities.

In December 2021, ATX Specialty Foods announced they would be moving their facility from Austin, TX to Kyle, TX where they found a perfect opportunity with a shovel-ready site at the Hays Commerce Center business park.

ATX Specialty foods has approximately 47 employees and will be looking to expand their operation at their new production facility, creating further employment opportunities for Kyle and nearby residents.

“Nearly everyone is familiar with ATX Specialty Foods, whether by name or by the sauce that goes along with their favorite hamburger, or their go-to tikka-masala or chipotle pepper sauce bought at the grocery store,” City of Kyle Director of Economic Development Victoria Vargas said. “We are thrilled that they chose the City of Kyle as their new home, and we look forward to the unique flavor they will bring to our community along with additional job opportunities that will further strengthen the city’s economic diversity and sustainability.”
