KYLE, TEXAS — Spring Break Campers visited City Hall on National Pi Day on Tuesday, March 14 for a taste of local government.

During their visit, campers learned about the different departments within the city and were greeted by Mayor Pro Tem Michael Tobias who explained the role of City Council and the voting process.

Campers held a mock City Council meeting of their own and voted to approve that all PIErate Treasure Hunt participants will receive free passes to the April Ash Pavilion Skate Night.

Participants must find one of four treasure chests hidden throughout the city and follow the directions inside for their free pass.

The free pass can be used to attend the Friday, April 28 Family Skate Night from 7 – 9 p.m. at Ash Pavilion at Gregg-Clarke Park. For more information on Ash Pavilion Skate Nights, go to CityofKyle.com/skate.

The PIErate Treasure Hunt is happening now until March 22. Participants have a chance to win $314 in celebration of National Pi Day in the Pie Capital of Texas.
