City of Kyle to Welcome Santa to Town, Host Holiday Season Kickoff

KYLE, TEXAS –  The City of Kyle invites the community to join us for Santa’s Arrival on Thursday, Dec. 1 from 4 – 9 p.m. at Mary Kyle Harston Park. 

Bring your family and friends for the official kickoff to the Holidays in Kyle. Since 1999, the city has invited Santa to Mary Kyle Hartson Park to take part in the downtown tree lighting event. This family-friendly event features holiday music performed by local school choirs, free activities for families and a chance to visit and take photos with Santa.

• 6:40PM - Hemphill Elementary School Performance 
• 6:55PM - Chapa Middle School Performance 
• 7:00PM - Barton Middle School Performance 
• 7:15PM - Wallace Middle School Performance 
• 7:30PM - Dahlstrom Middle School Performance 
• 7:45PM - Doral Academy of Texas in Buda Performance 
• 8:00PM - Lehman High School Performance 
• 8:15PM - Hays High School Performance 
• 8:30PM - Johnson High School Performance 

Selected vendors will be on site with festive food, drinks and holiday vendors will have special, holiday-related items to give you a head start on Christmas shopping.  

This is just the beginning of our December holiday celebrations. Starting Dec. 1 the City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department begins their 25 Days of Christmas. The month-long event includes daily events like Festive Fridays and Toy Tuesdays at Mary Kyle Hartson Park. Stop by for live music and local vendors from Dec. 1 through Dec. 25 and get in the holiday spirit.
