Community Needs Assessment Survey Now Available to City of Kyle Residents

KYLE, TEXAS –– The City of Kyle invites residents to take the Community Needs Assessment Survey available now until Thursday, Oct. 12.  

The City of Kyle has been identified as a potential Entitlement Community through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The CDBG program provides annual grants on a formula basis to entitled cities and counties to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment, and by expanding economic opportunities, for principally low and moderate-income persons. 

As part of this process, the City is preparing a 5-year Consolidated Plan that includes community participation. The Community Needs Assessment Survey is the first step in the community engagement process.  

We invite residents to take the survey, in English or Spanish, located at this link and sign up to receive notifications for future surveys or events. Residents can also take the survey in person by visiting the Planning Department at City Hall. 

On Thursday, October 26 the city will host a Needs Assessment Community Workshop from 6-7:30 p.m. at Kyle City Hall, 100 W Center.
