KYLE, TEXAS –– The City of Kyle invites the community to get updates, ask questions, and learn more about several of the eight 2022 Kyle Road Bond Projects at an upcoming Road Bond Neighborhood Update Event on Monday, Dec. 4 starting at 6 p.m. at Kyle City Hall, 100 W. Center St.

In November of 2022, City of Kyle Voters approved Proposition A, a road bond for 8 transportation projects across Kyle totaling 10.3 total miles of new location, reconstruction, and widening projects to improve the City’s transportation network. These projects will provide additional capacity to support current and future traffic, strengthen connections between the east and west sides of Kyle, and construct key segments of the Vybe trail system.

This Road Bond Neighborhood Update will cover the Parkway/Lehman Extension, Bunton Creek Road, and Windy Hill Road Bond Projects. This will be a come and go style event that gives residents the unique opportunity to delve into details, ask questions and provide valuable feedback on each of the projects. There will be various stations at this event providing detailed information about the projects giving residents the chance to absorb specifics, understand project timelines, and see how these improvements will benefit the community. These stations will also offer multiple ways for community members to record comments and suggestions.

Participation in the Neighborhood Updates helps ensure that these voter-approved projects meet the expectations and needs of Kyle residents. The City of Kyle will continue to host similar events as the Road Bond Project develops and evolves.
