Blue Santa Program City Council Proclamation

WHEREAS, the Kyle Law Enforcement Association, formerly known as Kyle Police Employee Association “KPEA,” has been facilitating and planning the Blue Santa program since 2012; and

WHEREAS, the Kyle Law Enforcement Association’s biggest project of the year is the Blue Santa Program; and

WHEREAS, the Pastrano Law Firm has been providing annual toy drives for different law enforcement agencies for 8 years; and

WHEREAS, a growing community benefits from partnerships between dedicated community members and law enforcement as a service to the local community; and

WHEREAS, in pursuit of supporting the Kyle community, the Pastrano Law Firm chose to partner with the Kyle Law Enforcement Association this year to host a Christmas event to raise gifts for Kyle’s youth; and

WHEREAS, the partnership between the Kyle Law Enforcement Association and the Pastrano Law Firm yielded over 1,000 toys for the children of Kyle; and

WHEREAS, the City of Kyle recognizes the hard work and generous endeavors of both the Kyle Law Enforcement Association and the Pastrano Law Firm which is an inspiration for us all to strive to do the same;

NOW THEREFORE, the Kyle City Council hereby proclaims their appreciation to the Kyle Law Enforcement Association, along with the Pastrano Law Firm for their hard work and dedication in supporting the children of the Kyle community.
