July 21st Park and Recreation Professionals Day Proclamation

Whereas, parks and recreation is an integral part of communities throughout this country, including the City of Kyle; and 

Whereas, parks and recreation provides health and wellness, and 

Whereas, parks and recreation increases The City of Kyle’s economic prosperity; and  

Whereas, parks and recreation is fundamental to the environment well-being of our community; and 

Whereas, The City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department includes 28 full-time employees who maintain our parks, trails, offer recreational programs and host city-wide special events; and 

Whereas, the U.S. House of Representatives has designated July is Parks and Recreation Month; 

Now, Therefore Be It Proclaimed that I, Daniela Parsley, Council Member District 5 of the City of Kyle designate the month of July as Park and Recreation Month and acknowledge July 21st as Park and Recreation Professionals Day  

“July is Park and Recreation Month - July 21st Park and Recreation Professionals Day” 

in Kyle, Texas, and publicly acknowledge the importance and benefits derived from parks and recreation resources.
