Eclipse Luncheon

DATE/TIME: Tuesday, January 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

LOCATION: Texas Old Town’s Sage Hall, 1205 Roland Ln. 

KYLE, TEXAS –– The Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon featuring tips to prepare your business for the upcoming total solar eclipse on Tuesday, Jan. 23 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Texas Old Town’s Sage Hall, 1205 Roland Lane.   

During the luncheon, City of Kyle Emergency Management Coordinator William Paiz-Tabash will discuss what businesses can do to prepare for the upcoming total solar eclipse in Hays County on Monday, April 8, 2024 

The presentation will include information on how to get your business ready for the potential conditions the total solar eclipse will bring to our area, including hundreds of thousands of visitors, major traffic gridlock, overloaded communications infrastructure, and more. A recording of the presentation will be made available on the city website following the event. The event is sponsored by Texas Heart and Vascular and catered by Spoon + Fork.
