Turn on the Lights and Get Ready for Santa to Ride Through the City of Kyle Three Nights in a Row

KYLE, TEXAS –– Get the family together, whip up some hot cocoa, and have the holiday lights ready to welcome Santa for the 2023 Santa Rides in Kyle December 12 through December 14.  

The Kyle Police Department and Kyle Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up to bring Santa Rides to the Northeast, Southeast and West sides of the city from 5 p.m. to approximately 8:30 p.m. for three nights in a row.  

Santa will visit the Northeast side of Kyle on Tuesday, Dec. 12, the Southeast side on Wednesday, Dec. 13, and the West side on Thursday, Dec. 14. During his visit, families are encouraged to step outside their front doors and wave hello to Santa Claus and his parade of escorts including the Kyle Police Department, Kyle Fire Department, Hays CISD Transportation, and the Kyle Parks and Recreation Department.  

Santa is very busy during the holiday season and will not be able to go down every street. Residents can ensure they don’t miss their chance to see Santa by choosing one of the designated Suggested Santa Viewing Spots *starred* along the route maps to wave and say hello. Residents can also track Santa’s movements through our Santa Tracker which will go live every night at 5 p.m.  

Families are reminded to stay off the street and remain on the sidewalk, front lawns, or in the safety of the Suggested Santa Viewing Spots when Santa and his crew pass by.
