Kyle's Financial Transparency recognized five years running

City of Kyle receives 5th award for financial transparency

Congratulations — you live in a city that prides itself on being transparent about its finances!

For the fifth year in a row, the City of Kyle received a Certificate of Excellence from the Government Finance Officers Association. The award recognizes our comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) for clearly communicating our financial story.

This award is considered the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting.

While this national recognition of the City of Kyle and achievement was made possible thanks to the efforts of the entire #Team Kyle, Finance Director Perwez Moheet especially recognized the contributions made by the Financial Services Department staff Andy Alejandro, Jacob Laina, Theresa Sanchez, Kay Koster, Gus Guerrero, Yvette Aleman, Jane Perez and Martha Rose to make this award possible.
