2023 Kyle Veterans Day Parade Entry Form

In recognition of my participation in the Kyle Veterans Day Parade, I agree to read and follow the standards listed below. All must be agreed to before being considered for placement in the parade.

There is no entry fee to participate in the parade.

  • Entries are limited to 40, or until all the spaces are gone. 
  • Only one entry per person or organization.
  • Staging set by PARD Staff, unless otherwise noted on the form.
  • Live animals require the entrant to provide clean streets.
  • All riders must be on side or rear of floats and flatbeds. All riders in trucks must stay on sides.
  • Each rider must remain seated while in motion.
  • No standing or leaning while moving. 
  • Adults on entries/floats must be responsible for children on entries/floats.
  • THROWING ITEMS FROM VEHICLES OR FLOATS IS PROHIBITED!
  • WALKERS ALONG THE EDGES OF STREETS MAY PASS OUT CANDY OR TRINKETS.
  • A MANDATORY MEETING FOR THE LEAD OF EACH FLOAT IS SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH, 2023 (exact details will be sent via email by Monday, November 6th, 2023).

Important Day of Information

  • The “Contact Name” for each group/organization will be notified of the parade slot number assigned to their group at the MANDATORY Manager Meeting on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. The slot numbers will be marked on orange construction cones listed on the streets surrounding the park. Please seek out a staff member to find your designated cone.

  • Only vehicles and floats registered in the parade will be allowed in the staging area at Gregg-Clarke Park.  Participants must be dropped off or park around the location and walk to their designated staging area. *
