Special Events

The Special Events division manages all major citywide special events as well as the Kyle Fair - A Tex-Travaganza in May. These activities are funded through a combination of Hotel-Motel Occupancy Tax (HOT) designated by the state for tourism operations, and event sponsorships or revenue.

Kyle Fair - A Tex-Travaganza

Join us for the Kyle Fair - A Tex-Travaganza on May 17-19, 2024 at Lake Kyle Park! We've got a party planned that’ll knock the stink off a skunk here in Kyle, Texas. We’ve got ribs and ‘ritas competitions, carnival rides, market vendors, plus a live-music lineup that’ll wear out your boots on the dance floor. To make it even better, entry and musical performances are FREE! By the end of the weekend I’d reckon you’ll be plumb worn out from all the hootin’ and hollerin’ at this finer than frog hair festival!
