Notice regarding City of Kyle General Election Day 2025

Pursuant to Sec. 26.16(a), as amended by S.B. 2, 86th Regular Session, 2019, the City provides the following information:
1. The political subdivision’s contact information:

2. Each elected officer of the political subdivision can be located here.
3. The date and location of the next election for officers of the political subdivision is Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
4. The requirements for filing for candidacy are located in the City's Charter and in the Texas Election Code. The deadline for filing for candidacy of each elected office, for District 1 and District 3 are as follows:
The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Saturday, July 19, 2025. However, the City offices are closed on Saturday; therefore, please file on Monday, July 21, 2025 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The last day to file for a place on the ballot is Monday, August 18, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
5. Each notice of a meeting and approved minutes of the Kyle City Council can be located here.
6. Polling locations for each election are selected on calling the election, which takes place generally between the 109th and 78th day before election day. For this election, that will be July 18, 2025 - August 18, 2025. In accordance with the City's Charter, Kyle City Hall will be a polling location.
