Team Kyle Academy
Team Kyle Academy is a seven-week program with the goal of informing residents about their community, creating a more connected and public service focused community here in Kyle. Throughout the course of the academy residents will be exposed to information about Kyle’s infrastructure, public safety measures, business growth, and everything that goes into the wonderful quality of life enjoyed by residents of Kyle.
The academy is structured to have a two-hour course every Monday, from 6 pm to 8 pm for seven weeks. The first class will be held on April 15, 2024 and the last on May 20, 2024 with a graduation ceremony during the normal City Council Meeting on June 4, 2024. There will be no class on Memorial Day or May 27, 2024.
Three “field days” are also required. Participants will be given a list of various city events/meetings and asked to attend any they choose during the duration of the course. More details will be given on the field days on the first day of the academy.

Application Process:
- Qualified Applicants are chosen on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Those accepted into the program will be notified by the email they applied with by Monday, April 1, 2024.
- Any applicants not chosen will be put on a waiting list for future classes.
- Classes limited to 30 participants.
